just over a week away now. i am going with a girlfriend of mine. 3 days, 50, 000+ people & only porta potties.
wish me luck.
any advice?
i'm going to load up on imodium since urgency is my main problem right now, actual number of bm's isn't too bad but when i gotta go i gotta go! (tried calling my gi's office to see about
possibly getting an anti-spasmodic, but ALL staff are away til aug 6th!), take it easy on the alcohol & try to watch what i eat.

There's always the woods!
I went to Woodstock in '99 (before I got sick) and enjoyed the delights of porta-potties for three days. I too wish you luck, but take whatever necessary action you need when nature calls.

oh wow blast from the past! I went to Lollapalooza in '92 with the RHCP and Pearl Jam it was awesome and then again in '95 with the Beastie Boys and Smashing Pumpkins......ah the good old days!
You'll be fine at the concert plenty of bathrooms but there is traffic getting in and out of concerts so bring some TP and wet wipes and don't get any poison ivy running into the woods. Back then I was usually drinking on the way to the concerts and stuck in traffic would run out to the woods to do my bizness.
Have fun!! Woot Woot!

I think that the Imodium will act like an antispasmodic...so maybe using both wouldn't be a good thing?
Start with a small amount of Imodium and increase if you need..don't overdo.
Don't forget your meds and sunscreen!
Have fun....

There are no woods near Grant Park :)
You'll be fine, and if not, you won't be the only person there to crap your pants.
The food looks freakin' awesome this year.
Really stinks that Nine Inch Nails and The Killers are playing at the same time :(

i'm not familiar with the killers so i'm more upset that nin is playing at the same time as lana del rey!
i'm gonna bring a backpack each day with basic "outdoor concert necessities", so i think i'll also pack a change of clothes, tp, and wet wipes as part of it haha.

Don't have the UC dx but struggle with daily, multiple, messy bm's so I feel your concern.
I know if I were there, I'd eat extremely light (and very plain food) the entire time but keep drinking water.
Head to the portalet before I think I actually need it. Sort of a preemptive strike. In case there's a line or you missed an important bodily function sign.
One of my daughters has gone to this show a few times and loved it. Volunteered one or two years, to receive the all inclusive pass. She went the year just before Weezer made it big. 2005. She still talks about
that lolla.
