I take Optimum Nutrition Platinum whey protein powder for lifting weights and I don't seem to have any issues. With UC, I was totally expecting the worse, but it actually doesn't affect me at all! Maybe because the milk is broken down into whey protein? I know some people are good with yogurt and that is a milk product. You should try Optimum Nutrition, they claimed it was lactose free but I think it might have tiny traces of lactose now.
I use Optimum Nutrition's natural oats-n-whey, very good.
