If you will please and tell me what you think of what happened and why

Yesterday coming home I had this urgency and pooped in my driveway, it was uncontrollable and I haven't had that since being on the amino acids, so about a month of no accidents.

The day before on Tuesday I had really really had acid reflux like to the point of wanting to not live it was that bad, seriously....I thought my pills (pentasa) opened up high in my stomach or something.

I looked at my diarreah yesterday in my underwear and a huge amount of tiny white balls where in it, now isn't that the pentasa? They were all the same size, so I'm thinking medication.

I know too now, I can't not take any probiotics whatsoever. Culterelle causes me to bleed and use the bathroom a ton in the morning, can some people just not take them?

I have a doc appt ( a new GI on the 12th) and colonoscopy the week after and I'm actually looking forward to it!!! I have had green diarreah for months off and on and no formed stool. I pray there's no blockage or something making me have diarreah. I've been crying for two days off and on from this pain either in my throat or my butt :( Thanks for listening. Linda

Sounds frustrating, and we certainly feel your pain and can relate here. I hope you get some answers after your colonoscopy and from your GI.

check this out my GI is prescribing VSL#3 for that Klebisa Pnemonia bacteria. I asked her for this three years ago and she said she knew nothing about it so I bought it on line and it maybe made me have to much die off but who knows, probiotics and me don't get along probably cause of the HERX reaction from killing off the bacteria. She's calling me in the script. We'll see what I do from there.

I was on pentasa for some time, and yes, the little white shells are from the medicine. It's the delivery mechanism and seeing them isn't anything to be alarmed about.

I'm a believer in VSL#3 as one of the weapons, but not a stand alone. Just remember to build up with it, as taking a high dose initially will cause your symptoms to potentially worsen before they get better.

There's a drug called Librax, which both reduces spasms and anxiety...It sounds like it would surely help you. In all honestly this simply sounds like a bad flare, what other meds are you on? Initially when I read the part of acid reflux I was reminded of my days on prednisone, where I had no choice but to take prilosec otc to combat that.

I tried to take probiotics again and it make me much worste..I get gassy and my stools get loose. I only lasted 3 days on them and had to stop. I tried the culterelle for the first time and that was the worste with D and all. I then retried my UFCC 50 Billion and it was the same but not as bad. I dont think I will be taking probiotics again soon.

On a side note my wife who has no issues with her GI systemand took/tried Culterelle and had very similiar results as me and had to stop. She has not taken any since and is scared to take the UFCC 50 Billion I have sitting in the fridge out of fear the same thing will happen. I guess if something is not broken dont try to fix it..I told her not to try anymore because she has no reason to take them so why risk it. Otherwise I have a box or culterelle and a bottle of 55 left of the UFCC5 50 Billion if anyone wants them..haha
