I'm familiar with the SCD and seems like my next option if needed. I know someone who was in really rough shape and is now thriving on the alkaline diet + herbs prescribed by the naturopath. I've been doing well on it also, pretty tough to stay strict though. I'm not sold yet on the alkaline acidity theory, but the idea of keeping 80% of our diet organic vegetables I'm completely sold. If you're absorbing food well it may help with your dysbiosis. I did a full month eating 8 fruits, two huge bowls of a (10 diff. veggies) salad with quinoa, 2 herbal drinks per day plus a few supplements. My intestines felt clean and the idea that we all have food sitting in our gut for days is a real concern. I truly believe we should be going to the washroom a couple of hours after every meal. In our mouths, absorbed, and out the other side (Formed, floating, short trip to the bathroom and almost no toilet paper need). I truly believe all the toxins etc. in our food supply sitting in our guts for 3 days is a big contributor to inflammation and other symptoms in crohns and UC. You took the GcMAF injections, enemas, and yogurt? Something about injecting myself with something I bought on the internet feels weird. Once I'm off remicade I'll think about it though. As far as peptides I have no idea, but I'm pretty sure body builders inject certain ones to help with muscle tears and injuries. Anyways good to meet you, once you've "trieditall" don't forget to drop a post and elaborate on what worked.
