I got some from sunrise botanicals, when i stir it into water it has tiny flakes of brown fibre type bits that sink to the bottom. Is this normal? They look like little splinters

I've left it sitting in water for a while to see what happens and it does not dissolve, it sits at the bottom

I have never seen it do that - I put mine in a shaker - give it a 5 second chubby checker gyration and gulp it down - if I get distracted and let it sit for 30 seconds it turns into a brown blobsicle -

You can actually see the little brown splinters in it before i put it in water. It's the seed powder

Yeah it's like little brown splinters, do you get yours from the same place?

Yeah it's like little brown splinters, do you get yours from the same place? If they don't dissolve I would only imagine they would irritate

I would assume the seed powder has both soluble and insoluble fibre...both are needed for fibre intake.
Are you scared to drink it??

I'm going to have to check mine now. I just got some seed powder and tried my first teaspoon the other day. All I can say is that it was not a very pleasant day. It didn't firm up anything, but had the opposite effect. Really afraid to try that stuff again. I will look to see if it had splinters, because if so, maybe that was the problem.

It was after noon so after lunch. I mixed a tiny bit in the water off the spoon let it sit, the splinter things sank and I took a couple of sips off a spoon.. Lucky I didn't drink it.. It hadn't even got thick, it was still watery
