I don't really suggest you try it... or well you can if you want to. But one day I got to thinking about
how much bacteria was in 1 cup SCD yogurt... Roughly 700+ billion.
So I said well, why not try a few weeks at this dose but use the Renew Life 50 Billion to introduce new strains. It was expensive as heck, and I split 14 capsules throughout the day. But it really made a difference in symptoms.
It kept me from flaring for about
2-3 months and I could add more foods. BUT, eventually i started taking less, and bad diet habits crept in and wham... flare...
Based on this I just sort of stopped buying probiotics altogether. My thinking being there's say 100+ Trillion bacteria in our system - is a measly 50 billion really going to stand a chance at all?... I doubt it.
But that was just my line of thinking based on the fact that I had never seen any success from probiotic supplements in capsules unless they were at normal SCD yogurt type levels.

I would however suggest if you try it, follow what Quincy says about
starting with one and increasing from there to see what reaction (if any) you have to them...
