Here's a quality, really good source of all natural whey... Get's rid of the possibility of pesticides/antibiotics and hormones that can creep into regular whey powders and such. Just on the odd chance they have something to do with this darn disease.
"Grass-Fed Whey Protein: This whey protein is made from cows that are 100% grass-fed and graze on all-natural pesticide-free farmland. The milk from these hormone-free cows is non-GMO and flash pasteurized. Grass Fed Whey Protein does NOT contain soy lecithin!"
www.truenutrition.com/p-4401-grass-fed-whey-protein-1lb-milk.aspxI order it a lot now and choose plain, unsweetened - so nothing whatsoever added to it. What I do is mix a scoop in with kefir milk, or mix it into half a glass of orange juice and top the rest of the glass off with water. Tastes just fine either of these ways.
It might help you get that little extra bit when eating a lot of solid food can be an issue. Seems to be very easy on my Intestines compared to anything else I have tried.
It actually comes in a resealable zip lock package - So you can either keep it in that or re-fill an old plastic protein jug. The price is always awesome because they don't do the whole branding and special packing and needless crap. Just good supplement at the price they should be.
I find it works out to about
50% less than the store bought stuff... So huge savings.
