Medication questions

The doctor has recently switched me from Apriso to colazal. He felt I may have had a reaction to it. The GI is still doing testing to check for other causes. I had an episode of a red urine, naseau, weakness, abdominal discomfort, but tests showed no signs of UTI.

For seven days I was on colocort enemas only until I was put on colazal. I have only been taking that for three days now. I am on one pill three times a day and then will increase to two and then three after a few days on each dose.

I believe I have been close to remission for about a month. Ocassionally I have loose or increased BM's, but mostly I am now down to one formed a day! I would like to taper from the colocort ASAP. I do have canasa I could also use. What suggestions do you have on adjusting my meds?

I think if your wanting to cut back on the steriod enema then maybe every 3rd day use a Canasa instead. I wouldn't do much else till you get some test results back.
