hemmoroids after j pouch surgery

Hello fellow UC`er,

I had my 1 step j pouch surgery two weeks back and was allowed to eat solid only after 12th day. The first few days were fine but then I started having itching feeling near my anus. I checked it out and it turns out to be a small hemorrhoid. Is it normal to develop hemorrhoids after J pouch surgery. I still have about 10 bowel movements a day and it pains a lot. I have been taking warm sit baths and applying corticosteroids near the area. Is there any other solution . How long does it take to completely go away? It doesnt bleed or anything.
