Sudafed doesn't contain NSAID, it's a decongestant.
I use the pseudoephedrine store generic, not the Sudafed PE, but the Sudafed PE would be a good start. OR, try the Tylenol Sinus.
We don't have Mucinex here, but I use Expectorant for chest congestion by Robitussin. It does have sorbitol, but it doesn't seem to bother me, thankfully.
Don't take antihistamines or anything for cough suppression unless it's at night so you can sleep.
I also take L-Lysine 1000mg twice daily during a cold.
