I've been reading about woo (wild oregano oil) and people's success with Isatis or CCHerbal and wondered: are these supplements doing anything different than Immodium does?
Obviously Immodium doesn't stop bleeding but sometimes blood is the result of multiple bowel movements.
Immodium works like a charm for me when needed except won't stop morning BM's when the gut is in it's normal functional mode.
My gut normally dislikes about 99% of natural supplements but it also didn't respond favorably to any Rx meds either so the score there is about even (only mesalamine enemas get a thumbs up from my UC).
Diet mod has been my saving grace but I'm always looking to improve and make my gut happier so I can eat more food groups.
I am most curious about woo because of it's antibacterial properties but Isatis is also of interest.
