skin issues

Been getting so many little extra-intestional symptoms with this flare. None are very troublesome just annoying and a little worrying. The latest seems to be an effect on my skin. My skin reddens on touch, it holds impressions, it holds coloured marks when I write on a white-board in lectures and seems very soft. Then about 2 mins later it is back to normal. It's like having hives for bout 2 mins and then they disappear. I'm not sure if it is some manifestation of colitis in the skin or the effect of the pred.

Anyone suffered skin problems like this?

I've been drinking enough I think. Knowing my body, this is unusual symptom. Have been on pred at 40mg 3 times this year. I've also googled some skin autoimmune but doesnt seem to present as Sclerderma or anything like that. I've had all my joints x-rayed, blood work done, and a colonscope. All were normal except for mild active inflammation throughout the bowel (even my CPR is normal despite this).

Dark complexion and kinda soft pale skinned (not your standard fair skined / red-headed irishman!)
