So I have been suspicious of this for quite some time. But, I have also been in a flare and stopping my lialda/rowasa/canasa wasn't an option.
However, this past weekend, I noticed that when I used a canasa, my pain/bleeding increased significantly. So then.. the next day I took off from using lialda and saw improvement... did the same on monday and saw more improvement.
Tuesday morning, I took lialda again and then wednesday morning had a noticeable increase in pain and bleeding.
I didn't take it yesterday, and today my pain/bleeding was much less.
For those of you that have mesalamine intollerance... does this sound like a possibility for me or is it just coincidental? How do I find out or know for sure???
