For the past week and a half I've had lower abdominal pain. Like right at my belt line. It feels like my stomach is bruised. Certain positions make it hurt a little more. I've also had this stabbing pain right under my right rib cage. It's not constant, it's just random. But the abdominal pain is the worst. It happens right after I eat every time. Sometimes my stomach kinda burns too. Although that one's new. The last thing is that my stool has the texture of coffee grounds, but it's not black. It's fine and like wood shavings. I have a colonoscopy scheduled for Wed, but it'd be nice to hear if these symptoms sound familiar to you guys just for some peace of mind. Oh, if it helps, I have always had pretty bad GERD. So I'm not sure if the two are related.

Honestly it's not a good idea to be guessing until you have a diagnosis. It could be one of several different things. Usually with our disease there is blood and mucus involved, although it can start out as you describe. You really need an official diagnosis and take it from there.

Sorry I didn't mention it but I have had blood and mucus. I'm not expecting a diagnosis. Just wondering if this stuff sounds familiar to you guys.

Could be IBD, either UC or Crohns.

when i had a burning sensation in my stomach blood tests told me i had pancreatitis caused from my medication. but that pain was also radiating to my back. not to say this is what your burning pain is from, but id get blood work done just to be safe.
