Hungry

For the last couple of days I have felt really hungry and then when I get my food and take two bites I feel sick.


Coltis, fibromyalgia, thoracic outlet syndrome, ulnar neuropathy

I always have that happen when I'm starting a flare. Usually I can tell the flare is starting then in a couple of days, I can't eat much. I don't know if that helps you at all.

Sorry about this. Focus on the low residue foods and add in bone broth do your diet. Cook your vegetables and peel the skins.

You'll find many resources on low residue foods when flaring - on google and here.

Do you have UC? (you have listed as "colitis")
Where is it located...throughout or limited to where?

What meds are you on? (all)

Are you flaring at this time?

Have you discussed it with your doctor?

You might consider to ask the doctor for an antispasmodic or to take an acid reducing med such as Zantac a half hour before eating.

about 4 years ago I was DX with pan colitis. Was given asacol with tapering prednisone. I have been to the ER in the last month because I have right sided pain like I had four years ago they did CT and said they seen nothing but I had a high WBC of 18,000 they sent me home on flagyl,cypro,oercocets, I'm going to go see a surgeon tomorrow to set up a colonoscopy. Right now I'm on cymbalta for fibromyalgia and Prozac for pain and depression, Percocet for pain and Xanax for anxiety

I feel hungry then when I get my food I feel sick I have the pain in my upper right abd like four years ago. I don't know if this is a flare or not. Sorry if I didn't give enough info before I'm new to this so please work with me. I hope I gave enough info this time. Any ideas or suggestions would be great.

I would call a doctor if I were you. I had pancreatitis a couple years ago, and some of the main symptoms were right side pain and pain/nausea that got MUCH worse when I would eat anything. Some meds can cause problems with the pancreas, and that is a very important organ! I hope you get to feeling better soon.
