Ok so I have been on Imuran for a few weeks now. Yesterday I had a cough with a scratchy throat. By last night I had major chills and now a fever of 102. I have gunks of mucous in my throat and feel like I could vomit. I know I should call the doctor, but do I really HAVE to miss work? :( I have already missed so much being flaring lately. Geesh.

I wouldn't go to work with a fever.

yeah, I think I have decided its best to stay home and rest. I work at a child care facility with 0-3 year olds and was supposed to be in a classroom today. Probably not good for the kids or me.

Oh you would have some very mad mothers if you went to work feeling like you do. I have a licensed daycare in my home. Any time a child's temp is 100 or more I have to send them home. It should be the same way with the workers. :)

I don't know if it is technically the Imuran itself that is doing this but Imuran can weaken your immune system, allowing you to catch more "bugs". I would put a call in to the doctor to let him know what is up.
