Starting taper cortenema

Decided not to use an enema last night and yippee no blood this morning. A little soft though. My gut a little noisy as I forgot to take probiotic yesterday. Will make sure to take that as well as my Apriso!

Crossed fingers that I can get down to every other night for awhile. Was so nice not to wake up and drink a gallon of water during the night. That is just one thing I wouldn't miss about this med.

If I can cut my usage maybe this will be a maint regime for me. Dare to hope right?

Anyone else stay on it as long term maint in very low dose?

so, you're saying you forget to take the Apriso sometimes?

Regarding the cortenema, you can eventually ask the doc for another such as proctofoam.

Have you tried Canasa yet?

While I don't plan to be on it forever, I have been I sing cortenema for 4 months. I am on an every other day schedule now and next week will shift to every 3rd day. I am waiting for my SF rowasa to arrive and will eventually shift to it rather than the steroid.
I had to go back to daily use after 3 weeks of every other day because I started bleeding again but so far so good this time around.

We flare, we heal, we flare....it's good you have refills. They're good for a year, right?

Cramping can be caused from a variety of things, diet included...

Today great too! I was afraid to not take an ennie last night but all well so far! It's weird how we become reliant on them!!
