Thanks to everyone who turned my whiny rant post into an informative and edifying one in which I learned that I don't need to squat in the bathtub over a clean cottage cheese container.
I went onto amazon and searched for "hat specimen collection" and sure enough for a mere 8 bucks or so I now am the proud owner of a toilet hat.
Of course, you know this means I won't be having stool tests as often. Murphy's law and everything.
But yeah, thanks all!

Aw Janey you should really just demand this from your doctor... they're disposable! I hate to think of you having to clean it out to put it away :(

I've got a few baseball caps. Will they work?

Pluot, I am going to be very cranky with the lab when I finally turn in my specimens, after all, they gave me the jars to put the stuff in, so how come no hat?
Gary, the question is: will you want them back?
