Over 30 years of at least one scope a year for me. ABSOLUTE BEST AND EASIEST. Prep I've used is miralx /ducolax prep. That is all I will use anymore. Always mix it with Gatorade for the electrolytes.

Thanks everyone for your comments , especially the tips and advice.

Eva Lou, my re-scope is in January, so I get a bit of a break before I have to go thru it all again. Guess we'll both be doing a scope in Jan, we can commiserate together.

Felt like a failure...yes that's exactly how I felt!

I remember my last sigmoidoscopy. He saw some inflammation right at the splenic flexure and asked if he could keep going. I said yes. It wasn't pretty higher up (yellow was the predominant color I remember) but evidently he was able to glean some good info because he was talking to me the whole time and ended up about 10 cm into my ileum.
