Cost of Remicade

I recommend reading up on Remistart which is a patient assistance program that helps cover the costs of the medication. Program exhausts 12 months after first service date or $8000, whichever comes first.

Many of the Biologicals have great patient assistance programs, give them a call and ask. Most people qualify as long as you don't have Medicaid.

I use to get Remicade at a hospital and they would bill my insurance company 25k for my double doses; I never saw what they paid after the insurances discount but it's usually 50%-60% of the original bill. My co-pay were $30.

I'd probably pay for better insurance than paying for Remicade out of pocket, it will be a lot less money. But take a look at the Patient Assistance Programs, that is probably your best bet.
