Colloidal silver water

I'd be interested as well, my cousin just mentioned colloidal silver to me yesterday!

all she said was it kills 99% percent of virus and bacteria, not sure if that would be affecting good bacteria as well. And another person mentioned they take it to prevent colds.

I thought I'd ask my doc about it soon.

You only turn blue when you use it in excess...as in daily for years.

I used it years ago for UC and it worked for a time; if I remember about a month. Then stopped working. Which is not unusual for me :( I used to keep some in the fridge if I felt a cold coming on.

Thanks for the reminder. I need to add it to my arsenal of "just in case" weapons against UC again!

You can try this. Don't know if it will work or not. Stress increases histamines in your body so maybe taking a non-drowsy 24 hour antihistamine during periods of stress might maybe help. Can't be any worse than taking colloidal silver.

Stress does increase histamine levels and I'm sure it does other things as well so that is why I'm not so sure if it would work or not but it wouldn't hurt to try. I have come across people on the internet who normally treat their UC with antihistamines but I don't know how much success they have doing it.

Silver is used to kill viruses and bacteria. Long term use can disrupt the gut flora, so if you use it just replenish your system with Probiotics. Don't worry about turning blue, as long as you use a reputable brand of Silver. Also, don't use anything stronger than 30ppm, there's no proven benefit to using anything more concentrated than 30. My family uses it to knock out colds, flu, fungus, infections, etc. I am currently using it on my 85 year old grandmother, to treat MRSA, that she contracted from a Nursing Home. Its the only thing that has truly helped. When I told her doctors about it, they agreed that Silver would be great for the MRSA, however none of them offered to write a RX for it until I brought it up....
