Thanks Soy.
We can scale down some. Unfortunately we have x-amount of set expenses that need volume to spread out their costs. Insurance is our largest set expense. Truck repairs and fuel are our largest expenses in general, though they would subside some with volume.
I am trying to make things go for two more years so I get some more good options for myself. Our business actually would prove very lucrative if it were not for three competitors slashing each others throats and bringing everyone down with them. It's absurd, and I cannot see it lasting... though it has persisted for over a year already.
It's such a hard choice, because I see our business as something I believe I could do very easily and make a decent living. It has the possibility of me earning a really good living if things were going really well. I also have some ideas in my head that could lead us to becoming very successful. BUT, this year has felt like fighting fire with gasoline in regards to everything including my dad and his issues. A guy definitely stops and wonders if he is doing the best thing for himself in these situations.
Happy T-Day to you too, Soy! Thanks!
