I'm just getting ready to sit down to a soyman sooper dooper pooper salad extraordinaire ! just wondering what you're dying for right now that you can't have - FOOD wise ;-) are you hallucinating yet ? visions of ding dongs and fried chicken and BACON dancing in your thoughts -
how long till you can eat real food again ?
hope you're feeling better -

Sausage-on-a-stick...fried Oreos...funnel cakes...turkey legs....sounds like Christmas dinner.

I want a super pooper salad! But that's exactly what it would be!
Couldn't handle the consequences!
But at least I can eat solids! What's on your menu Thoreau?

Hahaha... just saw this post!
I've had many of those super salads by the way, lol. Some are a bit crazy in their aftermath...
I am dying for pain relief more than anything! But for food?? Hmmm... I am honestly really hungry for entrees of any sort. I have been introducing some foods back into my diet: pudding, soft donuts, soup, popsicles, ice cream sandwiches... but I would love to be back to eating salads, pastas, some meat, etc!!
I want things of substance that aren't sugary!
This recovery process is not necessarily linear; some days will be worse than others for the first week or so. However, basically within a week of surgery I should be adding solid foods back into my diet as it feels right. Right now though it is a mess in my mouth of scabbing, stitches, and pain!
Not sure if you saw my update on the post I had about
my tonsillectomy, but I called up my doctor at midnight here due to the way part of my surgery site was looking. We have to be on the lookout for bleeding, and I saw some. Thankfully though it was more of an
openish wound than a spot that really wanted to bleed. Doctor lady got to go back to sleep and I didn't have to head to an ER... which I'm always happy to avoid!
