3 pricks to set my remi IV; lucky me lol

So I got my 4th them dose today. Lucky me, the nurse had to prick me 3 times until she was able to set my IV (once in each wrist and the one that took is the arm). Same nurse as the other times, I know she's good, said I was tense lol. They don't have pumps on their IVs, so it is instead gravity fed.
The doc said I can continue tapering off of the pred, if everything goes as planned I'll be off it in two months. I am at 10mgs, dropping by 2.5mgs every two weeks.

I got you beat. LOL Not my last Remi infusion which I had last week but the time before that, it took 2 IV teams and a nurse to get my IV in. So I had a total of 6 pokes. I was a bruised mess!

Make sure you're well-hydrated when you go in. That can make a big difference. Start hydrating yourself the day before to be sure.
