Making the most of vacation

Any tips for making it through a week long vacation? I'm packing GasX, Immodium and steroid enemas just in case.

I'm gonna eat everything in New Orleans. I'll probably be sick by the end of the week :-D

New Orleans! Oh no. The food there is obviously waaaaay to good to be good for UC. Hope the meds you are taking will get you through this. If you have any leftovers send them my way. Think positive and have a good time. I've been there several times, before the hurricane and it was quite an experience.

We're renting a house in the Garden District, and we'll be making breakfasts to save a little money and hopefully give me a break with at least one 'easy' meal per day.

This is DH and DS's first time!

Mostly uneventful UC-wise. Lots of bloating. Not much bleeding. One bathroom trip adventure after some onions in a crab dish, that's it. SO many germs on public transport!

I can never tell if I'm tired from my disease or just my age :o
