It's more or less reached cultish levels on freetheanimal.com and it's gaining traction in the alternative medical community. People with all sorts of ailments are continuing to report fascinating results. However, I wouldn't think of it as a panacea to everything. As an adjunct to a nutritionally complete diet rich with prebiotics and probiotics, it acts as a finalizer.
What does your diet look like nowadays and what are you supplementing with? Are you getting enough safe carbs? UC is a bowel disorder but it's also a metabolic one - the perpetual inflammation essentially mimics a a constant workout, so there needs to be a steady supply of carbs to combat the fatigue.
