I can't see how veggies will help one get out of a flare, but if you want to have veggies cook them till they're very soft.
Some veggies you'll have gas regardless....so maybe taking a digestive enzyme will help a bit for the ones that give you a LOT of gas (such as broccoli, cauliflower, beans, peas).
If you do see them in the toilet, don't freak about it...that's normal.

The are highly anti-inflammatory. Like soystud said, try them, they may or may not work for you. I had trouble with cruciferous veggies for a while. I find cooked spinach very beneficial.
