Need advice

Hey all, I am getting booted from parent's insurance this summer, any advice about finding my own insurance that isn't crazy expensive? Currently on Asacol hd. I'm not going to be getting it through work most likely :/. Thanks any advice helps!

I'm not a fan of Obamacare at all and think it is fraught with way to many problems but I really don't understand why it is that with people who would actually benefit from Obamacare basically ignore it. There really is no reason why people with lesser incomes don't even consider applying for Obamacare. Go to healthcare.gov and apply. If your income is way low you can get on Medicaid, which is basically totally free and those with lower incomes that don't qualify for Medicaid can get much, if not most, of their health insurance premiums subsidized and, in some of these cases, there is even additional help to defray the costs of deductibles and other out of pocket expenses. Obamacare really screws me but people like Chrissy and woofwoof's friends this should be a no brainer. If you don't like what you see with Obamacare you're not obligated to use it but it is definitely at least worth checking out.
