This is probably the reason I started cooking my own food from scratch. The perils of HFCS have always been known, so I'm not too perturbed with that. What disturbs me is what the research is going to show for the other ingredients we decided to approve without adequate testing and regulation. For instance, butter is a superfood, but GMO feed butter is
crap for us.
We have to work very hard to not find something that isn't harmful to us in some way or form. Shame on the food manufacturers for profiting off this. But more importantly, shame on the FDA for perpetuating this. What an absolute joke of an organization.
