way random: car accident and diarrhea- do you stop?

So I read an article about a 92 year old woman involved in a hit and run of a pedestrian. She claimed she had diarrhea and had to go to a convenience store to go to the bathroom. I think she returned 45 minutes later (after buying rolls and taking them to the church potluck, but anyway).

Being the wonderer that I am, I began thinking about having UC. You have to go "now" and you accidentally hit a pedestrian. Leaving is criminal but there's a store right there for you to go poop. You can't leave the scene can you!! Sigh.

*note, it's been awhile since I've had a UC poop, but I do get alot of mucous and blood at times

My son-in-law is a sheriff deputy, I can't wait it ask him this question.

Avoiding embarrassment or soiled pants is not gonna wash it to a judge as a basis for justifying fleeing the scene of an accident, no way, no time.

yes, you stop if you hit someone. It would be awful to have to deal with all that with poop in your pants but it's better than leaving a person on the street maimed.

I think if you acknowledge the act by rolling down your window and saying something like "awfully sorry mate - don't move, i'll be right back" , you'd probably be ok -

Oh, I was assuming you needed to just poop your pants and stay. But it would suck to be in that situation. And sometimes you aren't always thinking clearly during an emergency.

ActiveUCer, do you remember this post?
I finally asked my son-in-law the question, told him I was serious. He said you have two options, ticket or poop your pants. He has been around my son and I enough, that he knows plenty about UC / CD. He said he personally would choose get a ticket then explain to the judge and maybe get out of it, maybe not and pay the fine!
