I have been dealing with a flare for 2 months or so. It is under pretty good control with mesamalamine enemas and lialda (no blood and only 1-2 BM per day). I noticed two weeks ago that I started to get occasional stomach pains. I am used to having them on my lower left side with a feeling of gas. Instead, they are now in the middle part of my stomach and give me the feeling of an upset stomach like that of a stomach bug. It happens on and off during the day, only for a minute or so. I am now on my period and have also had some cramping, which does not always happen to me. I am trying to decide what the next step is for me... Should I wait it out to see what happens after my period, or should I make a visit to my doctor?

Personally, I would wait to see if the pain resolves after your period. When I had mine, I had a wide array of strange sensations. If it doesn't ease afterwards, then you should call your doc.
