Ok well i just took my humira since the GI didnt think my symptoms i had following the initial shot were caused by the humira it self!! I really hope he was right but i doubt it :(

So far not too bad! No diarrhea but a lot of rumbling. Not hungry and when i eat i feel like food is floating in my tummy. Nauseous but ive kept everything so far. Good good good :) has to keep this way ive got things planned with the kids next week :)

That's great!!! Hope you continue to improve with Humira...I just started last week, haven't noticed huge improvements yet, less pain though so that's always a bonus and I'm happy to take that for now.

It sounds like you are feeling the exact same way that I currently do. I wonder how long Humira takes to "kick in", so to speak? I am almost 5 weeks in, and I have only seen moderate improvements. I am not complaining, but I do wonder the time it takes to take effect.

I have been on Humira since October...I would say it took me a solid 8-10 weeks to start feeling normal again...I was also weaning from 80mg of Prednisone.
But it did seem like every week things got a little better.

I think the remi got me in remission. But it was also giving me too many side effects
Ive been 'ok' since late december with uc. And i was sick with the loading dose of humira. And now second dose and im dead tired and i can barely eat but at least im not throwing up as of now.

I cant decide whats better dealing with the UC or the side effects of the meds. I still cant work this way. Making me anxious and depressed :(
