I sooooo miss fresh pizza though. I can't even begin to imagine how my body would react to this pizza though.

Sounds amazing...God only knows whats in it though to keep it edible for up to three years!....as you say, probably not good for people with IBD I would have thought.

pizza bothers my blood sugar much more than my IBD.

Some MREs are better than others...
A lot of backpacking preservation is simply drying. Fermenting is good for us. Not everything preserved is bad ;)

I eat pizza maybe once a week or so... maybe every other week. I mean really- it's just bread, cheese, & tomato sauce! If anything, it tends to constipate me- not always a bad thing! That MRE pizza is a trip though....
