I mean in life, in general.

For me it's always been baroque, Renaissance art and baroque music. Why?! I have no idea but I love it.

Weather and storms come second....

I like that period, too, John. The church where I had my twins baptized is home to an active Bach Society.

I love the Federalist period and anything Colonial Revival. I enjoy quality antiques and interior design. I'm currently getting into jewelry-making and design. I've been practicing soldering sterling silver lately and setting up a studio.

Madpotter, my four year old and I read that book last night! (However I am sick of snow).
I have to say it depends on my mood- as far as music goes; Italian baroque vocal music, especially anything by a Caccini (both father and daughter), Mahler= goosebumps, Schubert lieder and piano sonatas; but I also love old school Latin bands from the 50's and 60's. I love running and I have a weakness for really good espresso- and in the warmer months I have been known to go a bit nuts gardening but growing my own food trumps the flowers.

Going out on the Harley with the hubby. Nothing like wind in your face, fresh smells of the roadside, hanging and riding with friends and no I don't get bugs in my teeth because I have a face shield on my helmet! :)

I'm with you JohnPhx. I love Baroque and Renaissance music. I was in a few madrigal singing groups and have enjoyed every minute of it. Singing in general.redface And I love a good thunderstorm smhair

Travel, camping, hiking, National Parks. I have about ten years of vacations planned out.

Cars, race cars, vintage GMC motorhomes (fwd, 455 Olds engine).

Food - especially combining travel and food :)

Tornado6 I'm curious where you plan to be on 8-21-17? On that day there will be a TOTAL Eclipse of the sun crossing the U.S. passing through Jackson Hole, WY. Last time this happened was in 1918.

Animals... I volunteer at the SPCA and there's nothing more I love than interacting with dogs. I have a chocolate labrador and a lovebird at home and they make life so much better.

Mine: nature, beachcombing, van-camping but not tent. Antique roses, organic vegetable gardens, fragrant plants (all citrus is in bloom right now in my part of Florida). Monet is my fave painter but there are many others.

I love reading (esp. ancient history) and learning new things (science that this forum teaches me).

Well, 2017 is the year I turn 40, and that is the year we're hiking the Grand Canyon. Not in August, too hot. That big sweep out West will eat up my vacation that year, I hope.

Since it is a Monday, it'll have to be somewhere close to home, unless I win the lottery between now and then :)
