Music!!!!!
Rock, Pop, Country, Bluegrass, Latin, some classical (Sarah Brightman).
Favorite groups include the Beatles, Phish, Cold Play, Arcade Fire, etc, etc.

The local High School band recently performed their version of "Thriller" and soundtracks from The Hunger Games and other movies at their annual concert. Loved it!

helping animals, learning foreign languages (besides English, i speak Spanish like a native speaker), which enables me to "spy" on international uc fora :)

I love music...I was a teen in the 80's so Def Leppard is right up there, along with a variety of music hits from the 70's (My Sharona by The Knack is one of my favs) right up to today's top hits (not a fan of country music with the exception of Shania Twain though and Steve Earls "Copperhead Road" lol).

I love 10 pin bowling (never 5 pin) and at home we have a foosball table and a pool table cuz I enjoy those enough to own them hahaha!

Exercising is at the top of my list too, especially and only to music....can't get a good workout done unless the music is blaring so over the years I've made a lot of my own CD's with various artists on them.

Do you have a gym at home John? I do, and love it!!! I prefer to workout at home compared to a gym for obvious reasons (with IBD I can run to the bathroom if I have to and not worry about what others might be thinking). I'm not a swimmer myself but I've heard that a pool is also an excellent source for a great workout as well!

Walking, hiking in the woods, music, books, work, games, sitting on the porch or by the pool in the summer time Listening to crikects and cicadas IF IT WILL EVER WARM UP FOR THE LOVE OF GOD THIS WEATHER SUCKS. Sorry got carried away.

You folks talking about baroque music and stuff make me feel inadequate with my pedestrian hobbies.

Hateuc I typically like rock or symphonic rock/metal but I do like some old Kim Wilde songs, you like her?

Good ole Kids in America, Kim Wilde. Yeah Levi, I like all things 80's! I would jump in the "hot tub time machine" and re-live it in a minute. I was at the 6 hour monsters of rock concert...and guess what.. Ate whatever I wanted and didn't think once about the fact that there was probably only one bathroom somewhere around there.

Those were the days, my friend! Oh, and I have to agree with you about the weather... It is so cold snd snowy. I'm actually looking forward to seeing Mosquitos ..lol!

I wish we had cicadas in the UK: the sound they make is awesome. So relaxing. (On the plus side, we're having an amazingly warm March :p)

Not really into anything amazingly interesting myself: most of my time is probably spent on the internet to be honest :-/ I guess video games is my other main interest. Used to like my music, but haven't bothered with that much in the past few years: need to download new stuff and feel the vibe again.

In a parallel universe, where I possess energy, a concentration span and intelligence, my other passions would be science, maths, programming and basically anything logic-based. Probably would also climb mountains, fight sharks, and do all sorts of other awesome things.

Running, shopping, cooking/eating food. Taking random classes(pottery, languages etc.). Training my spoiled dog.

Kids in America, geez I've listened to that song a lot. Water on Glass, Cambodia, I like those too. here "You keep me hangin' on" is better than the original IMO.

Levi I also love the 80s and even the 70s & 60s music! As far as the baroque I'm from a HUGE family - 46 people in 8 states - and can only think of maybe 4 or 5 of them who like classical/baroque. My own mom doesn't like the stuff! My dad had German ancestry so maybe that's it.

So my love of baroque definitely wasn't from my culture. I was raised on meat and potatoes, roller skates, sitting on the porch, Boy Scouts, the Mod Squad, My Three Sons, tag, hide-n-seek, and the feel of cold grass on bare feet in the evenings.

having a day where my mind functions well...tad hyper and focused (with a bit of a quieter mind ). So, that means having a great Heather day!

I do love the 60s, 70s and some 80s and 90s music, but I don't tend to listen to it selectively. My latest selected music is still 10 years (Minus the Machine) and 3 Days Grace (Transit of Venus). q

Anything fun and usually that means something outdoors that gets dirt under my fingernails, or snow on my shoulders. Snow sports: snowshoeing, xcountry skiing, climbing mountains in the winter. Warmer weather stuff: gardening, kayaking, camping, hiking, backpacking trips in the mountains, or lounging on the backyard patio or firepit with a stiff drink in hand with good company lol.
