I took my 4th dose of Simponi on Fri. evening. I feel quite great. No poop, until this morning... the big D. but only once. No blood. Some stinky mucus. I also decided on Saturday morning that I would not take any Mesevant and see where that went...well it is all good. I did; however; take 2 asacol each day, and it is all good. I sure hope this keeps up. I never did like how the Mesevant made me feel. I know it is risky to be your own Dr. .....but.... what can I say.

Good for you!

I'd still take the Mesevant, you know those studies say it helps protect against cancer, whether you are in remission or not. You always will have low level inflammation.

No. Never tried Metamucil. Not sure what to do there. Any insight would be great.
