Canasa change?

Just got a Canasa refill, and I noticed that the box is a different size and the suppository packaging has changed (different shape, different color printing, lower quality printing, different format for expiration date). The shape of the Canasa itself is a little bit different, too.

The old box is labeled "Manufactured in USA"

The new box is labeled "Manufactured for Aptalis Parma US, Inc." But nowhere does it say WHERE it is now being manufactured. Wouldn't you think they would be obligated to disclose that somewhere on the product or packaging?

I picked mine up a week or so ago and it was the same as always. blue and white packaging.

Does it actually state Canasa with the registered trademark on it?

Yes, it the new box is branded Canasa.

I assume Aptalis, or whatever they are called now as I think they were acquired by another company recently, has moved production from the US to overseas. Since they made a point of touting "Made in USA" on the package before, and now they do not state where it is made, it looks like they would rather consumers be kept in the dark as to where the manufacturing is now being done. It's possible that they are outsourcing it. Looks like Salofalk is also their brand, so maybe both Canasa and Salofalk suppositories are made in the same place now.
