The post-Pred fatigue was unreal and lasted for several weeks. Even when the extreme fatigue - being almost literally too tired to walk down a street - lifted, I had lesser fatigue for months afterwards. Other stuff might have contributed to the fatigue, though.
Anyway, I don't get how people stay on Pred for months and months at a time. Does spending 6-12 months tapering off really ensure you don't relapse again for a long time (minimum of a year) afterwards? If so, maybe I should've tried it. I always tapered off rather fast.
But Pred never did much to get me into remission. It was a weird drug in that it would knock an acute flare-up right out for a while, but symptoms would start returning at doses as high as 35mg. Can't see that 10mg would have done anything for me, even if I'd spent 6 months on it.
