So sometimes we hear of ppl having UC, they use the 5-ASAs for while, stop and the UC doesnt come back. I just realised that last year I had some ezcema on the top left eye lid. Every night I used Sigmacort (mild hydrocortisone cream). If i stopped for a few nights, the dry skin would come back.
Anyway for some reason I stopped using it late last year and since then it hasnt come back. No itch, no symptoms.
I wonder why. Reminds me of UC.
Not really expecting many responses, i was just speaking aloud.

It's an autoimmune condition as well, so that could be why...when I was a kid I had severe eczema, it was horrible looking and super painful and itchy, then as I got older it got much better, I still have some skin sensitivities but nothing compared to when I was a kid, it's almost as if my eczema went from being on the outside of me on my skin to the inside of me via CD, my skin was pretty inflamed and deep ulcerations when my eczema was bad.

I've heard of people who've had GI issues like us early in their adult lives, and then it went away never to return again. Very mysterious, indeed.
