Thoreau I feel bad for you that you are struggling so much - with life decisions and particularly with the remi pains. I too have the severe and constant remi pains but my GI does not think they are due to remi and my PCP has now referred me to a rheumatologist, but I cant get in for 6 months.
I want to share a story with you that may be of some help. when I was about your age, I was facing some major life decisions regarding career and marriage and where I was going to live. I started to have this severe itch on my arms. It spread to my legs and eventually all over. It continued for weeks. It was unbearable. This was in addition to the fibromyalgia pain which I was already experiencing at this young age. Well, I finally made a decision regarding my career (which also affected the decision on marriage and where I would live), and the decision was irrevocable. Within an hour the itching stopped and never returned. Not saying that the decision was right or wrong - who can really say. But the indecision had been driving me crazy and causing the itching.
Since I joined this forum, you have been struggling with these decisions. If you can just make the decision and stick to it, you may find relief from some of the pain. There is no right or wrong decision - you just need to make any decision at this point. From reading between the lines on your posts, it seems like you really want to sell the business and go back to school - so just do it. Don't second guess your decision. Just do it.
