Just started ten week prednisone taper.... Is this weird?

Is it weird to jump from 60 mg to 40 after one week(skipping 50) then taper down by 5 Mgs each week after?

Sounds normal. I am actually though going to taper now for 10 weeks from 10mg, as I consulted with an endocrinologist as worried about my adrenals crashing and he recommended 1mg per week after 10mg. I also read on the American Society of gastroenterologists website that there is no good research or consensus of best practice tapering but they suggest 2.5mg per week after 20mg.
