Ugh I hate the prep. Hate, hate, hate it. I have thrown up every single time. So feeling pretty anxious.

Think this is colonoscopy #5. Lost track of number of flex sigs. Doing the Prepotnik (sp??) prep in a split dose as my appt tomorrow is at 12:30.

On another note my GI's office sent me Entyvio's patient assistance paperwork. Hopefully will get that moving along fairly quickly.

Good luck! I think we all hate it. I can't drink things that taste good quickly without wanting to throw up let alone things that taste yucky. I always end up taking a bit longer drinking the preps but it still works. And I chase every gulp with some ginger ale.

Ugh I hear ya. I have my 4th one on Wed with the prep on Tuesday night and wed am. Sucks!!!! That reminds me I need to get ginger ale and Gatorade and stuff

Yeah, the prep is the worst. I've done a split schedule only once when the Fleet was popular. Worst experience ever!

I'll take the gallon preps....but if you tend to up-chuck, not so good for that I would think.

Keep us posted how your prep and scope goes.

Oh you have my sympathy. I hate hate hate prep day. I tend to upchuck too and have to take a gravol but then I struggle to stay awake to drink all the prep/liquid.

This prep (prepotnik) is not very much to drink. I did a 5 oz glass (powder mixed w/ water) at 4 pm. I had to follow that w/ five 8oz glasses of clear liquid at my own pace (within 5 hours). That was no problem.

I've only gone 3 times since I started at 4:00. Do the next dose in am 6ish.

So funny….I worry to death about throwing up the prep. Now I'm worried about pooping enough!

Doggiedo- I have done MoviPrep. For me it was a lot of liquid. I couldn't get down all of the first dose but was able to get down all of the second. Cleans you out well too. Tastes horrendous though. Chase it with some ginger ale to get the aftertaste out of your mouth.

I survived! My GI was running 90 minutes late (my arrival time was 12:30). I had the worst headache when they started. Then the nurse couldn't get a vein for an IV bc I was so dehydrated. Needles don't bother me ever but I got a little lightheaded when she was moving the needle around trying to get my vein to cooperate. I'll have a lovely bruise from that.

Nothing exciting to report. UC active to 25 cm. 3 small ulcers around the 15cm mark. No polyps (I had several the last 2 scopes). Will start Entyvio once office gets meds and my insurance straightened out.
