Real hard avoid surfactants in toothpaste,I am also trying to avoid saccharin and sucralose in toothpaste.
I did just baking soda for awhile but it is too hard on my teeth.
Currently using a walgreens store brand organic toothpaste, but now see it contains sucralose,so have
to find something different.
I try to avoid anything in food that says used as emusifer, sorbitan esters and so forth.
Believe my dishes get a double rinse.
Clothes get a double rinse.
I use ivory bar soap for showers and my hair, whats left of it.
Am now switching bathroom liquid detergents to castile soap. Few weeks ago I eliminated Trichlosan
from the house.
From other reading, these surfactants are poorly absorbed through the skin, but about 23% is dumped into the colon.
If not broken down well might lower mucus viscosity, same thing with food emulsifiers.
Just one of the many UC theories.
