My luck

So I THINK I've been getting much better on Entyvio over the past few weeks (much more formed BMs, less frequency, less urgency, I'm sleeping through the night on some nights). Not 100%, but it looks like I'm getting better.

However...last week I developed an ear infection (my entire family got strep)....that turned into a double ear infection on Monday so I had to start antibiotics which seemed to make me immediately worse. Now my youngest has a stomach virus (stomach virus outbreak at the daycare) which I'm sure I either already got or will get.

Just when I thought things were looking up...bugs come and take it away fro me. :/ That's why I smash the ones I CAN see!

Sorry UCHater. At least you can look at the bright side - apparently somedude is having a worse day than you. He has posted a lot of gibberish today. I just came off 10 days of antibiotics for strep myself. So far I have survived.

That stinks. At least you feel confident about entyvio, that's still something to be excited about! I have terrible luck too. Every time I think I am improving things get worse. Even more annoying, every time I say I feel a tiny bit better to someone I have a tragic back step. I guess I just have to keep my mouth shut and try not to jinx myself. Darn uc. Feel better.

haha notsosicklygirl....I'm the same way. I feel like every time I tell someone I'm feeling better I start getting worse, so I try not to get too positive too quickly. I'm afraid of being let down, again.

Yea Kat, Entyvio can take up to 3 months. My doc has 3 patients on the same schedule as me (started the same day). One is not really responding yet, the other is having some improvements but nothing earth shattering. I'm definetly doing better than before, even with the abx. Still LOTS of room to improve, but I'm optimistic still. Like I said I'm not letting myself get excited because I don't want to be let down, it's happened way too many times with this disease. I've been off steroids for about 2 weeks now but it sometimes takes me a few weeks to start getting worse once I stop Pred. We'll see...don't be discouraged, like I said my doc said it could take 3 months and they're not too concerned about not having much of an improvement this early on.

My next infusion is also on the 7th.
