Flare or something else?

Hello everyone,

It's been a while since I've posted on here. Last year I was in the hospital for 3 weeks due to a severe flare and almost got to the point of surgery (flare happened due to stopping remicade for a bit). Fortunately, after a high dose of steroids that took a year to taper down from and getting back on remicade, things have gotten back to my "normal".

The past week or so I've been having random bouts of nausea and my stool has been very, well for lack of a better word - foamy. I've been upping my intake of water around the same time o started getting these feelings but nothing crazy. Just gradually trying to drink more and shift to eating a bit healthier.

I'm starting to worry that this may be the onset of a flare but I'm not sure and was wondering on others thoughts. I'm hoping not because medicinally there's not much left for me and next up is surgery.

Hi, it does sound like it could be the start of a flare, and if your concerned I would speak with your GI asap, maybe he can up your meds for a while, if your on rectal meds fine, but if not I would ask your GI for them, also you probably know this, but probotics are helpful too.
