Here is an article I came across from ubiome. It states how our gut contains viruses the bacteria in our gut. I find it interesting that this virus attacks the bactroides. I have and I think others with UC also have an imbalance of this type of bacteria in our gut.

Wow! It does make sense they out gut bacteria also get viruses, it makes it that much more complicated to put all the pieces together.

My test showed about 98% Firmicutes and almost no Bacteriodetes. This is interesting.

This article contains a few more interesting fact about the crAssphage virus. Interesting that's it's found in lower intestines and is not present at birth.
