imodium before remicade

I have a remicade infusion scheduled for this Friday. I would be confident going in without imodium if it was in the afternoon but it's at 11am and I'm always more symptomatic in the morning. This is my first dose after the loading doses. I've been flaring after my third loading dose and have an appointment with my doctor in September. I was wondering if I could use an imodium before the remicade infusion and if any of you have had to take imodium before infusions. The premeds I get during the infusion are benadryl and tylenol.

Using it once off like that is fine, but dont take it every day

I've used the toilet during an infusion. You should be able to roll the pump into the bathroom if you need to go.

If you do take the Imodium, see if half a pill is enough. That stuff can be dangerous for UCers.

I remember my nurse wouldn't let me use the restroom because I was flaring during my Remicade infusion. She punished me with silent treatment after I got really mad at her because of this.
