I've always found that when I'm in a true remission, I'm really, really gassy. Like passing loud gas three or four times an hour for much of the day. The gas smells normal and letting it out doesn't cause any leakage.
I pop Gas X like candy when I'm going to be around people. I'm a stay-at-home mom so I let them rip when home alone.
When I say "true remission", I mean that I'm having one, occasionally two, solid, healthy-looking BMs a day. No urgency, no pain, feeling good and normal. So I don't think the gas signals anything bad. Maybe it's my colon enjoying being healthy?
Anyone else have this experience?
