The info you provided was great. The thing about enemas is that sometimes you can't hold them no matter how hard you try, or even if you try every trick in the book. In those cases, I usually use a suppository or foam but often those can also be fruitless in the worst cases of rectal inflammation.

only thing that helped. Stuck that in a few times first just to get the feeling over with. Wouldn't have mattered if I had stood on my head the first several bottles weren't staying in.
Using them over the years it's never as easy as brushing your teeth, lol. Started using them in 2002 and never thought that once. Maybe if you have mild UC. Easy to get them in, but not holding them. Rowasa the tougher to hold much less viscous. Cort enemas easier for me to hold.
