I have researched, and from what I've read it was opposite, works for ex smokers but not fit non smokers. I c you are a former smoker, have you personally tried this? Just curious.
In General:
Going back to smoking works for ex-smokers, while other forms of nicotine do not. Non-smoked forms of nicotine (gum, lozenges, patch, inhalers) work for those who never smoked.
Nothing is axiomatic about
this disease, but those are the general trends.
I tried gum and lozenges, with little relief.
